It may interest you to know, when planning a vacation or a time out to a true nature, that the typical weather conditions here are different from the usual in Uganda.
As your tour consultant at Rizwana Safaris will explain, the park has just one long wet season with minimal rain and one dry season.
During the day, you can expect average daytime temperatures to range from 30ºC to 34ºC in the dry-hot months of January, February, and March with some days ranging from 35ºC+ onwards.
In the wet-cool months, daytime temperatures are likely to range between 25º degrees and 29ºC. However, nighttime temperatures may vary between 16ºC and 20ºC all through the year its located on the northernmost corner of Uganda, between the borders with Sudan and Kenya.
The first day
On the first day we report to out hotelAs a budget option, Kidepo Savannah Lodge offers 9 non-self-contained tents. These are comfortably furnished with 2 single or 1 double bed, a bedside table. While here there are chances to have the first views into the park which is vast and magnificent with an occasional herd of elephants or buffaloes passing by.
